Gerald F. Hall, CLU®, ChFC®, MSFS, AEP®, CAP®

Principal, Financial Advisor

For over 45 years, Jerry has been a trusted advisor of many individuals and successful business owners in the South Coast area.

Jerry grew up in Dartmouth, MA and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a degree in Business Management. He is a Vietnam veteran, having served as a U.S. Navy Reserve Officer in an Amphibious Assault Group that spent two tours supporting troops in Vietnam. He has spent his entire career as a student of the business. His long list of professional designations and his Master's Degree in Financial Services attest to his quest for advanced knowledge that benefits clients transitioning into retirement and successful business owners preparing for business succession and retirement. He is a strong advocate of the team approach to planning and prefers to work closely with the attorney, CPA and other advisors of his clients. One of his greatest satisfactions is watching his clients achieve their lifelong dreams through careful planning and follow through. Jerry regularly attends national conferences each year to keep pace with the latest techniques for his personal and business clients.

Jerry has spent nearly forty years serving on the board of Southeaster Council on Addiction serving the South Coast area. The council provides facilities for men and women recovering from various types of addiction. He has served twice as President and is currently serving as Treasurer. He was active for many years in the New Bedford Kiwanis Club. He is a charter member of the Bristol County Estate Planning Council. He has served twice as President and currently is a member of the board.

He has been active in alumni affairs at UMASS Dartmouth. Among his many hobbies, he enjoys boating, salt water fishing in Buzzards Bay and the Islands, archery and golf.

He has been married to Norma, now a retired school teacher for 48 years. They have two sons David and Curtis, their wives Kathryn and Elizabeth, and three grandchildren, Jaime, Lauren and Genevieve.

 

Blake Barbosa, CFP®

Financial Advisor

Blake’s passion for being a Financial Advisor began with a college internship experience in 2013 that flourished into a career. During his Junior year in college, Blake joined Lifetime Financial Group as an intern and began to learn the fundamentals of becoming a Financial Advisor. The rest is history. Blake is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®).

Blake graduated from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2014 and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance.

Blake enjoys giving back to the community and has been a “big brother” for two years at the Big Brother Big Sister of Massachusetts Bay program. He has served as a board member of the Bristol County Estate Planning Council for one year and will serve as Secretary of the board during his second term.

Blake resides in New Bedford with his fiancée Lindsey and their two dogs, Arri and Rory.

 

Adelaide McIntire

Paraplanner / Client Relations Coordinator

Ade has over twenty years of experience as the paraplanner for the firm. She grew up in Southern France and migrated to the US and graduated from St. Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts.  She remained in the US and resides in New Bedford, Massachusetts with her son Eric.  She regularly visits with her family in France.

Early in her career she completed the rigorous requirements for the Paraplanner Certification at the College of Financial Planning.  She maintains her certification annually through continuing education courses.

Among her duties, she supports Jerry and Blake by compiling and sorting client data that she inputs into the planning software. She runs client reports, creates scenarios and prepares comprehensive financial plans for delivery.

Ade assists Jerry and Blake with the preparation of various investment proposals, processes applications for securities, mutual funds, privately managed investment portfolios and retirement plans. She manages the general administration of client accounts and monitors compliance regulations of Eagle Strategies LLC and NYLIFE Securities LLC and is the primary contact with staff for client support and service

 

Debra A. Moreau

Office Manager / Client Service Specialist

For the past 30 years, Debbie has provided exceptional attention to detail and has effectively represented the face at LFG. Working in close coordination with Jerry and Blake, Debbie has proven to be indispensable in the day to day operations of LFG. In addition to providing service to our clientele, Debbie also processes service related paperwork, organizes the advisor’s schedule, and manages the firm’s client relations management software.

Debbie resides in New Bedford with her husband Ken and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.

 

Jenna Carvalho

Marketing Coordinator

Jenna began an internship at Lifetime Financial Group during her Senior year at Dartmouth High School in 2015. This experience was so influential that it steered Jenna toward the pursuit of a bachelors of science in finance at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and expects to graduate in Spring of 2019.

Jenna has been a great addition to the firm and her responsibilities include providing administrative support for Debbie and Ade, coordinating the firms marketing strategies and organizing client appreciation events.

Jenna resides in Dartmouth with her family and enjoys going for trail walks, relaxing during the summers at the beach and spending time with friends.
